11A- Idea Napkin no. 1
My name is Adrian, and I am a Public Relations major at the University of Florida. My talents include being sociable, and great at talking to people, and my aspirations are to be a successful corporate lawyer or entrepreneur.
This product is a website/software database that provides users with the true source of a news article or post, and allows readers to test the credibility and decipher the legitimacy of the news.
I am offering this service to all people who are interested in learning about their news sources or simply want to be better informed of where their news comes from.
These people care because news is their main and vita source of information to stay updated on current events that may effect them, and having incorrect sources can cause one to be completely misinformed.
Competencies include a severely and thoroughly researched/designed database that is able to intelligently decipher different news articles and whether or not they deem to be legitimate news or not.
These elements all tie in together in being able to provide a strong foundation for the cause and effect of this product. Many of the challenges with this project involve being able to carry out the complex coding and making sure the information the software has is accurate as well, making research a weak point if it is inaccurate.

ReplyDeleteI personally feel that your idea can be beneficial for all of society. With the amount of sources that are present in Today's world, any reader will likely come across a source that is not accurate. I know when researching, I too question the legitimacy of several sources after reading its content. You are exactly right in that providing this service will create a challenge, especially being able to carry out the complex coding. Overall, great idea and post!

ReplyDeleteI think your idea is great and would be utilized by many people. The need you have identified is definitely felt by many people in our country as "fake news" is very prevalent. It seems that people read an article and do not even think of questioning its legitimacy, so it would be helpful to have a service that can decipher credible news. However, as you stated, it will be very difficult to create the coding for a quick service like this one, but with perseverance it could be achieved. Overall great post!
