1) Tenaciousness is a competency. What are the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the requirements of this course?
I used an entrepreneurship like mindset of always having the go-get-it mentality and being focused and organized as well as tenacious with keeping on track of my assignments. I also soak in a lot of the things I learn when reading my peer's blog posts.
2) Tenaciousness is also about attitude. Talk about a moment or two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months? What experience or experiences most contributed to this?
When I failed AP Calc as a Junior in High School I felt like giving up but I retook the class and passed. I feel like I have develop a tenaciousness through the motivation of entrepreneurs we read about.
3) Three tips. What are three tips you would offer next semester's student about (1) fostering the skills that support tenacity and (2) developing the 'tenacious mindset' ?
1) Always be ready to confront a challenge
2) Everything you do is for your own success so do it the best way you can.

  1. Hey Adrian,

I too use behaviors such as being organized as well as soaking in material from other peer’s blog posts in order to succeed in this class. In addition, I agree that a good tip is to always be ready to confront a challenge because life is anything but easy. As long as you face things head on and confidently you will be better off.

  2. Adrian,

You did a great job outlining how to do well in this course and how tenacity comes into play. I also like how you included the questions in your blog post; I think it helps the reader better understand your post. My only suggestions would be to check formatting with your numbering, and to include a photo to enhance your post. Overall great work!
