18A: Create A Custom Avatar
The customer for this product is a very vague one. In actuality, there is no set demographic, group of people, or set target audience for a product of this sort. This Fake News Filter and Credibility check can be used by anyone. They can be any type of person from any sort of background with any occupation if the have an interest in news and where it comes from. Since the service will not be expensive it can essentially be used by anyone with internet access. This person can range from a High Schooler who wants to get accurate information from their news source for a project, a professor with pressure to report accurate findings, or a blue collar worker who just wants reliable news. It is a wide variety of clientele, hence why for the avatars I simply chose to randomize it because it could literally be anyone.
What I have in common with these people is that I simply want to read accurate news, and there is no coincidence because I am fed up with the amount of fake news circulating.

ReplyDeleteThinking about it now, you are exactly correct in belief that this product can be of service to just about anyone. Despite a certain person's background, demographic, age, social life, occupation, etc., there is no set audience "for a product of this sort". I, too, myself have struggled finding reliable sources/news dating back all the way to high school. I believe in your idea and that it could be of tremendous service to many. Great post!
