25A- What's Next?
Existing Market:
For my venture, I think the next step is to find a way to perfect the news sources and how they are determined for credibility. To use extensive research in determining the way certain news outlets and articles are categorized in terms of their legitimacy.
When asked what should be done next, many people replied with the same answer i provided. We should work to making sure our research and sources are credible because we could damage the reputation of a news network or ruin the publics trust from a news source.
In the future, I want to make this product flawless and make sure that the sources are credible, the research is correct about media articles and outlets.
New Market:
Targeting non news readers or people who don't seem to care about news credibility.
We could add a branch that deals with famous news sources, and try to research and weed out whether or not this news sources are providing credible news to make an impact on the normal news readers news sources.
The interviewees said that they could definitely try and question the credibility of big news sources such as Fox or CNN and use this application to find stories that have been proven false. There is also a big emphasis on the user friendliness of this app and how easy it is to use and to understand.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that you have not find yourself in the situation of modifying your target too much or your idea based on feedback. I think your approach for extending your business' target is very doable and most importantly, achievable. Also, I would like to point out the importance of friendliness in business, which you remarked in your last point. It definitely looks like you have yourself an organized idea that can lead to desired profits.

ReplyDeleteI believe your concept is heading in a great direction. Credibility, when it comes to news sources, is extremely important, so I believe a focus on it would be an excellent place to begin. This is particularly important in today's environment with narratives of every source of news being fake or purely sensational in some way or another. If you were to focus on credibility, with an ambiguity on political siding, I believe this would propel you above the competition.

Credibility is something that is very important for a company and can determine the relationship it has with its consumers and overall the success of your business.

ReplyDeleteI have found you idea very interesting since the start and it is nice to see you heading in the right direction. I believe that credibility is extremely important for any news source, but for a service that regulates news, it is the most important factor. However, I am sure you are keen on this and have ideas to make your product better than ever. Overall great post!
