28A: Exit Strategy
1) For my exit strategy, I intend on continuing running this company for as long as I can. The premise of this company is to assist in providing factual information, not to make money. So I would have to find someone whom I trust to continue the morality of the company. Most likely, I would continue the venture as a family company so that the morals that the company is ran with would come directly from me through my children.
2) I selected this strategy because my company is based on provided accurate information, and not to make money. Many people could somehow get their hands on this company and completely misuse this to make money instead of us it for its intended purpose of providing reliable information. That being said I want to stay in charge for as long as possible.
3) The exit strategy influenced the entire premise of the company. This company was truly inspired by the greater good, and to provide reliable information and stop the epidemic of fake news. It influenced how I decide to keep the company based on morals and not profits, and finding investors and employees who share this values.
Your exit strategy is one that I can tell has a lot of thought behind it, as you take a lot of pride in your work. I think that your idea of the business being family owned is your best option as long as the people you pass it down to have the same aspirations and commitment to the truth as you do. I enjoy that your company is solely based on trying to provide reliable information and not on money, as your business and your exit strategy show this.
