30A: Final Reflection: 1) Read through your posts from this semester. Recall all of the experiences you've had a long the way -- the highs, the lows -- the fun moments, and the moments of drudgery, and even the moments of dread. There have been many moments throughout the semester where I saw myself failing, where I felt like given up, and to be honest I might have failed sometimes, but I always got myself back up no matter what the failure was. This class helped me to realize that even the greats have failed, and that no venture is going to be perfect no matter how hard you try.  2) What sticks out to you as the most formative experience? The experience that you'll remember years later? What was your most joyous experience? What experience are you most proud of yourself for accomplishing? The most formative experience I'll remember from this semester is the job I acquired for the university. It allowed me to be uncomfortable, and to make sure I use my time wise...

29A Venture Concept No. 2 1)  My opportunity involves one that does not have a very simple solution. The problem of Fake News and Fake News Posts/Stories is one that is very prevalent in todays society that is basically half lived out on the internet. My solution to this issue would include both a service and product. A service would include the mass awareness of Fake News and how prevailing it is in our day to day lives. This would include campaigns on the internet about the widespread debacle of fake propaganda or accounts that pose as news accounts that spew out lies in order to pursue an agenda or misinform. The service would be a computer program or software that can be purchased by social media outlets and search engines to prevent fake news outlets from gaining credibility, as well as a websites that users can use to research a certain article and review the credibility of the publisher and author. I would make money by having advertisements on the page, or by including...
28A: Exit Strategy 1) For my exit strategy, I intend on continuing running this company for as long as I can. The premise of this company is to assist in providing factual information, not to make money. So I would have to find someone whom I trust to continue the morality of the company. Most likely, I would continue the venture as a family company so that the morals that the company is ran with would come directly from me through my children.  2) I selected this strategy because my company is based on provided accurate information, and not to make money. Many people could somehow get their hands on this company and completely misuse this to make money instead of us it for its intended purpose of providing reliable information. That being said I want to stay in charge for as long as possible.  3) The exit strategy influenced the entire premise of the company. This company was truly inspired by the greater good, and to provide reliable information and stop the epidemic ...
27A Reading Reflection No. 3 How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big,  Scott Adams 1) What was the general theme or argument of the book? The theme and argument of this book was that the path to success is not smooth nor is it easy, and that there will be many downfalls and many failures in your path to achieving your goals.   2) How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? Yes, the connection with success in failure is hand and hand and that is something that this class has not only taught me but has elaborated on. It enhanced that many entrepreneurs go through several failures before achieving their opportunity.  3) If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve? I would make students reflect on some of their biggest failures and get into as much detail as they can about it. Then have them right how they bounced back from that failu...
26A- 1) During this Spring semester I obtained a job at the survey research center for the BEBR at UF, and I believed that i could balance out the college workload, extracurriculars, and a job. Unfortunately I was wrong, and I sacrificed attending work for instead studying, going to events, and doing exams. Eventually all my missed shifts caught up to me and I had to resign. I failed in being able to manage my time and maintain a job during this semester. 2) I learned to always have a plan instilled when making a drastic change to your schedule and to manage time wisely because it is precious. I jumped into this job without a plan to solidify my schedule and to manage my time wisely.  3) Failure is hard, and it made me feel insufficient to being able to manage time, but this class changed the way I view failure. Failure is not a failure, it is a learning experience that can help me to better things the next time I am in a situation that is similar. So this taught me I need t...
25A- What's Next? Existing Market: For my venture, I think the next step is to find a way to perfect the news sources and how they are determined for credibility. To use extensive research in determining the way certain news outlets and articles are categorized in terms of their legitimacy. When asked what should be done next, many people replied with the same answer i provided. We should work to making sure our research and sources are credible because we could damage the reputation of a news network or ruin the publics trust from a news source. In the future, I want to make this product flawless and make sure that the sources are credible, the research is correct about media articles and outlets. New Market: Targeting non news readers or people who don't seem to care about news credibility. We could add a branch that deals with famous news sources, and try to research and weed out whether or not this news sources are providing credible news to make an impact on the...
